Badfreaky — The Meanest Witch is the first entry in The Life of Badfreaky the Witch Book series and a delightful for all ages tale with fascinating characters and intriguing plot points, written by Konstantinos V.E. Adamopoulos. The plot has some precious lessons baked into it, such as the significance of politeness, kindness, and environmental stewardship. The illustrations are colorful and filled with lovely details that add depth to the story and bring the characters and setting to life. The character names, particularly Meanloudmouth, Badfreaky, and Goodwhitebeard, are amusing and easy to remember, and it is interesting to notice how the author writes the traits of these characters to correspond to their names. There are some hilarious parts in the book as well, but this is primarily an action-packed, magical adventure with plenty of suspense and some brilliant plot twists to hook and keep readers engaged.
